Using a customer video without their permission is the fastest way to turn good will into a takedown notice. Buuse handles consent for you, but you should know how it works.

What consent covers

When a customer submits through a Buuse link, they grant you a non-exclusive license to use the video on your storefront, in your marketing, and in your social channels. The license is perpetual unless they revoke it.

What it does not cover

• Use of the video by third parties without a separate agreement.
• Modifications that materially change the meaning, like cutting a critique into a positive testimonial.
• Sale of the video as a standalone asset.
