Buuse is a social commerce platform that allows e-commerce merchants to create shoppable video widgets from their social media content. This Privacy Policy explains how Buuse ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our services at app.buuse.co.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address and name provided during sign-up.
  • Store data: product catalog, store URL, and integration credentials from connected platforms (Nuvemshop, VNDA).
  • Media content: videos and images you upload or import from social accounts.
  • Widget analytics: anonymous event data (views, clicks, conversions) collected via the embed script.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session metadata for product improvement.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and improve the Buuse platform and services.
  • To sync your product catalog and render shoppable widgets on your store.
  • To send transactional emails related to your account.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve product features.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Cloudflare) strictly to operate our platform. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Nuvemshop integration

When you install the Buuse app from the Nuvemshop App Store, we receive an access token to read your product catalog and register embed scripts on your storefront. We do not store customer payment data. Upon app uninstallation, your store integration is deactivated and all associated scripts are removed from your storefront.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or app uninstallation, we process data deletion requests within 30 days in compliance with LGPD. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@buuse.co.

7. Your rights (LGPD)

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you have the right to:

  • Confirm the existence of data processing and access your data.
  • Correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Obtain information about third parties with whom we share your data.
  • Revoke consent at any time.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, row-level security in our database, and secure token storage. Access tokens from third-party integrations are stored encrypted.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Buuse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
